MBARARA- Western Ugandan artistes who earlier this week went on rampage accusing the Presidential advisor Jenifer Full Figure of illegally placing his posters in Mbarara town campaigning for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa have finally come out to apologies for the wrong deed they committed.
The artistes went all around town collecting the posters and took the to the Mbarara District Resident Commissioner showing how unhappy they were.
This din’t go well with Full Figure who rubbished them of promoting racism and trying to own the party as an Ankole amd Western Uganda property.
However, the two sides met on Saturday October 17th 2020 and reached a leveled ground of putting aside their difference and work for the betterment of President Museveni and the National Resistance Movement NRM as a whole.
In a video making rounds on Social Media, Rasta Charz one of the artistes told Full Figure that some artistes just speak without minding their words which angered the others to join them in vandalizing the posters.
“I think the word just skipped her and she just uttered out what she said. Away from that, i have no issues with anyone and am ready to come together and solicits votes for the President” Rasta Charz was quoted.
Eunice Arinaitwe alias Omwigarire another artiste from Mbarara told the meeting that all they want to meet the President and tell them their grievance. Omwigarire noted that it is unfortunate that even during the campaign, Kampala artistes usually colonize western Uganda podiums on the expense of home artistes.
However apologetic Full Figure told the artistes that since the President has a fixed schedule nowadays, she will see how to make an appointment for them so that he can sort out their issues.
