SHEEMA- Tension continues to mount among the residents of Sheema district as the District Coronavirus TaskForce confirms burial of the first coronavirus death.
The TaskForce chairman who is also the Resident District Commissioner Frank Kyerere told this Online Publication that the deceased a native of Sheema who has been resident in Kampala succumbed to the scourge.
Information obtained by www.theinformerug.com indicate that the deceased was a 6o year old female native of Kyagaaju ward, Kabwohe Division in Sheema municipality who died from Mulago hospital where she was receiving treatment from.
“It is true she was buried in Sheema though she was not resident in this locality by the time she got infected till her demise” Mr Kyerere told our reporter.
The deceased was buried on Friday by a team of specialized medical teams who were trained on burying Ugandans who succumb to the novel coronavirus.
Uganda has todate registered 5,594 total cases, 61 deaths and 2,544 recoveries.
