KAMPALA- Uganda’s Coronavirus death toll has increased to 60 after the country registered 2 new deaths. The deceased are from Soroti and Mbale District.
In the same vein, the country registered 143 new coronavirus cases from 2,849 samples tested on Tuesday September 15th 2020.
Of the new cases, 135 are contacts and alerts 66 of which are from Kampala, 15 from Buikwe, Lira 14, Mbale 7, Tororo 7, Soroti 5 Bundibugyo and Buvuma each registered 3 cases. Others include 8 from Kiryandongo, 2 from Wakiso, 3 from Masaka as Arua and Zombo each registered one.
8 other new cases are returnees from various countries including 4 from Oman, 1 from India, Senegal, UK and Ethiopia.Uganda has todate registered 5,266 cumulative coronavirus cases, 2,404 total recoveries and 60 deaths.
