Uganda hits 8,287 Coronavirus cases, 75 deaths

KAMPALA- The ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 185 new COVID19 cases from the samples tested on 30 September, 2020.

Of the confirmed cases, 125 are contacts and alerts from Kampala (76), Kabarole (4), Mbarara (4), Wakiso (4), Butambala (3), Kitgum (3), Mbale (3), Nabilatuk (3), Bududa (2), Dokolo (2), Kisoro (3), Kalaki (2), Mityana (2), Bunyangabu (1), Gomba (1), Hoima (1) and Iganga (1).

Other cases were 1 from Kaberamaido, 1 from Kasese, Kwania (1), Kyotera (1), Lira (1), Mpigi (1), Napak (1), Ntungamo (1), Rubanda (1) and Soroti (1) districts.

The other 33 cases are returnees who arrived from Oman (18), Jordan (10) and Afghanistan (5).

To date, Uganda registers a total of 8,287 confirmed COVID19 cases, 4,430 recoveries and seventy five (75) deaths.
