Uganda Coronavirus cases continue rising despite stringent measures in place

KAMPALA- The Ministry of Health has expressed concern on the ever increasing cases of Coronavirus despite the measures aimed at stopping its spread.

The concern by the Ministry of Health comes out buster accumulative Coronavirus cases in Uganda rose to 11,443 after 146 cases were yesterday Oct 24th 2020, confirmed by the Ministry.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health today morning, 2 more people are also reported to have died in the last 24 hours which has brought the total number of dead people due to Coronavirus pandemic to 101.

The statement indicate that out of the 146 cases reported yesterday, 63 are from Kampala, 16 from Jinja, 11 from Kiryadongo, 10 from Wakiso, 8 from Mityana, 7 from Mukono, 5 from Masaka, 3 from Gulu and Bulambuli and 2 from Mubende and Tororo Districts.

The same Statement indicated that Bundibugyo, Bunyangabu, Iganga, Kabarole, Kaliro, Kamuli, Kyenjojo, Manafwa and Mbale districts all had one case each.

Uganda has so far registered 7,351 recoveries out of the patients who were admitted in different hospitals across the country.
