Uganda Confirms 7 new Coronavirus cases, infections hit 1,013

KAMPALA- Uganda’s Health Minister has confirmed 7 New Coronavirus cases from the 2,436 samples tested on 10th July, 2020.

Of the new cases, 5 are community infections including 3 from Amuru and 2 from Kasese and Tororo while the 2 are truck drivers from Malaba.

The Ministerial statement also noted that 25 foreign truck drivers tested positive for Coronavirus at border points of entry and were denied entry so that they can seek medical attention from their countries of origin.

To date, Uganda registers a total of 1,013 confirmed Coronavirus cases and 952 recoveries including both Ugandans and non Ugandans.
