KAMPALA- Security personnel have recovered hundreds of National Resistance Movement (NRM) and President Yoweri Museveni T-shirts at the National Unity Platform headquarters in Kamwokya.
Sources in Police suspect that NUP members, pretending to be Museveni and NRM supporters, have been donning the T- shirts to cause chaos around the country.
The said t-shirts are among the many items that have been confiscated from the NUP office during the afternoon raid today.
Amongst the items confiscated include; berets, umbrellas, masks, computers and CCTV cameras among others.Police, UPDF and NUP are yet to come out with an official statement about the matter.
However, by press time, NUP officials led by their spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi were searching through the office following the departure of security personnel.
