KAMPALA- A Congolese refugee is in Police detention at Old Kampala on allegation of stabbing a colleague to death over a piece of soap.

Police identified the suspect as Inyati Mulaga and the deceased is Kachepe Kasanavo.

The duo has been residing in Kisenyi ward Lubaga Division Kampala District.

Eyewitnesses told this online publication that the deceased went and picked a piece of soap from a nearby restaurant where Mulaga worked and used it for washing his body and clothes.

They added that Mulaga got annoyed and the duo immediately developed a query and later on, Mulaga went to the restaurant, picked the sharp knife and stabbed his colleague three in the chest killing him instantly.
