RUKUNGIRI- The Rubabo County Parliamentary seat is heating up as the country gears up for 2021 general elections as an entrepreneur Hilary Ainembabzi aka “OWA WORK” joins the race with a new approach to governance and employment creation especially for the youths.

“I went to army schools which were educating children of fallen soldiers that are Jinja army boarding primary school and Nakasongola, army secondary school,” he says.

After the studies, he could not find any job anywhere and decided to start his own business, “a printing and Textile company” mainly dealing in school and corporate uniforms, plus importation of printing materials and Textile materials from Dubai, India and China.

Politically, “OWA WORK” is not in this field for the first time, he was the Deputy Head Prefect Nakasongola Army SS where he served diligently and successfully completed his term.

“In 2011 to 2012, I was the Chairperson of the Anglican Church in Nakasongola Army Secondary School”.

At University, Ainembabazi Hilary “OWA WORK” was the president of Kigezi students association which was advocating for unity and equal opportunities among students from the Kigezi region.

With the experience gained from the above leadership positions, “Owa Work” believes more in making sure the desired change is attained by Ugandans in a peaceful way.

He also yarns and implements the need for quality and equal education to all youths in Rubabo County and Uganda at large. He has been sensitising Ugandans to rise up and advocate for their rights and resist oppression.
