MoH registers 6 new Coronavirus cases

KAMPALA- The ministry of health Uganda has confirmed 6 new Coronavirus cases from 2,048 samples tested on 9th July, 2020.

Among the six (6) cases of the confirmed cases, two (2) are truck drivers  who arrived via Mutukula, Malaba points of entry while the four (4) cases are contacts and alerts from Malaba, Busia, Amuru and Kyotera Districts.

The ministry says a total of Seventeen (17) foreign truck drivers including 15 Kenyans and 1 Tanzanian who tested positive for Coronavirus weren’t permitted entry into the country.

To date, Uganda registers a cumulative total of 1,006 confirmed Coronavirus cases and 938 recoveries.
