KAMPALA- The Ministry of Health has today confirmed 4 new Coronavirus cases bringing the total confirmed cases to 893.
The new cases were from 2,059 samples tested, 3 of them were community cases from Amuru and Kyotera while 1 was at trucker who entered the country from Malaba border point of entry.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed that 16 foreign truck drivers tested positive for Coronavirus and were returned to their respective country of origin.
Uganda to date is yet to report any Coronavirus related death. The country has so far 184 active cases including 162 Ugandans, 19 foreigners and 3 refugees.
According to the Ministerial resport, Uganda has registered 837 recoveries from Coronavirus both Ugandans and non-Ugandans.
