MITOOMA- Mitooma district Local Government has today launched the second phase construction of the district Medical stores project.
The 42.8 Million project adds to the first phase where the building was constructed and now the works will be done on finishing and some others and will only take 3 months.
During the launch at Mitooma district Headquarters, the acting Mitooma district Health Officer Robert Gumisiriza asked contractors to work according to the standards.
He said the medical store will act as a centre for distribution of drugs to all health facilities.
AKileng Simon Peter, the Mitooma district CAO warned the contractor against in-cooperation and shoddy work arguing that such cases caused problems between the district and first contractor.
“This is our project and its peooles money so everyone will be watching and if the contractor does shoddy work , he will even face penalties”, the CAO said.
Begumya Jackson represented the BE-CAMOL Ug limited (contractor) welcomed the contract and promised to do up to standard work.
Present on the Launch were RDC Ada Nasiima who launched the project, Acting LC5 Tumukurate Silvester and among others.
