KISORO- A group of residents in Kisoro District who are not contented with allocation of governmemt jobs have asked President Museveni to consider one of the their own for a top Uganda Investment Authority job.
This comes after one Robert Mukiiza passed recently held interviews for the position of Chief Executive Director of Uganda Investment Authority (UIA).
According to an inside source, Mukiiza is reported to have passed the interview very well and his appointment is awaiting the approval of the President.
In August, a cross section of youth asked President Museveni to consider appointing some of them who have qualifications to top governmemt jobs.
It’s against this background that the residents took it upon themselves to remind the President about their request.
The members who claim to be strong supporters of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) claim that without top governmemt jobs, Kisoro District has remained behind and therefore, the appointment of Mr Mukiiza to top Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) will ensure that their aspirations are catered for.
Mr Mukiiza has previously worked as the Country Director of Green Growth Global Institute based in Ethiopia office and also worked with United Nations and is currently an Investment Consultant based in Kampala.
