KAMPALA- Criminals alleging to have kidnapped Makerere University Business School (MUBS) student are now demanding a ransom of shs2m from the family members.
The ruthless kidnappers have also threatened the victim’s family to either bring the ransom or risk collecting her lifeless body.
On Wednesday last week it was reported how Hellen Nabuuso Rhodah had disappeared on her way to visit her sister who stays in Kampala city, it was said she was traveling from Kayunga district and at around 4pm her mobile phones went off, that was on 9th September.
A case of a missing person was later reported by her family in Kayunga after she didn’t reach her destination nor return back home.
Reliable information now gathered from family sources indicates that Hellen was trailed by unknown people right away from the post bank branch located along Nkurumah road in Kampala, who kidnapped and blind folded her and then drove her up to the border town of Malaba in Tororo district in eastern Uganda.
Security efforts to find where exactly Hellen is kept by the kidnappers has hit a hard rock and family members now reveal that they are organising the shs2m to be sent to kidnappers so that they can release their daughter alive.
