KAMPALA- The Uganda police force has sanctioned 4 charges against two of Bobi Wine’s bodyguards who have been detained at Wandegeya Police Station since Friday.
Although police arrested them basing on only one offence of assaulting police officers on duty, Police Spokesman Fred Enanga revealed that after reviewing the CCTV footage from the premises, it has been found that the bodyguards committed three other offences.
The duo, a one Kavuma Rashid and Matovu Adam who on friday were involved in a brawl with police officers who were telling them to vacate the court premises as they were standing outside waiting for their boss.
Police now say they are being held till today for acts of violence,assault,obstructing police officers,and obstructing police officers on duty.
They will appear in court today or anytime from now.
