MITOOMA- The Mitooma district youthful Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) flag bearers have vowed to change and cause a tremendous improvement in service delivery to the district inhabitants.
Mitooma district is made up of three constituencies (Ruhinda, Ruhinda South and Ruhinda North) all of which have been under the leadership of the ruling NRM though the FDC has now beefed up their strategy and fielded candidates in all the constituencies.
The Forum for Democratic Change flag bearers include Nkwene Nelson 31 for Ruhinda North, Atwiine Victor 25 for Ruhinda South and Engineer Akampa Audrey 32 for Ruhinda County.
Ms. Akampa told this Online Publication that she since she is dully nominated to stand for the seat, the effort is now concentrated on offering her manifesto to the electorates so that they can choose her since she is a capable leader to represent them.
Eng. Akampa who will battle National Resistance Movement’s Maj. Gen Kahinda Otafiire says it is time for able youths like her take up leadership mantle and rescue the country.
Hon. Nkwene Nelson who is leading the Forum for Democratic Change for the Ruhinda North Parliamentary seat accuse the incumbent Hon Thomas Tayeebwa for failing to deliver services to his constituents but rather worked upon his own benefits.
Nkwene says, “Says it’s time for Ugandans to come up and vote for ideas not names”.
These will battle with NRM bigwigs who include Hon Captain Mugabe Donozio Kahonda in Ruhinda South County, Major General Kahinda Otafiire in Ruhinda County and Thomas Tayeebwa for Ruhinda North Constituency.
