BUSHENYI- The total number of Coronavirus cases has reached six in Bushenyi district in the Western Part of Uganda.
According to the results released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday October 11th 2020, Bushenyi registered three new coronavirus cases of the total 100 new cases from samples tested on Saturday.
Mr. Eliab Tayebwa the Bushenyi District Assistant Health Officer told our reporter that the patients have so far been handed over to Medics at Mbarara Referral for medication.
“We have already handed over the patients to the Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital medical personnel to start the treatment” Mr. Tayebwa told the press.
Mr. Tayebwa added that three are active cases and currently receiving treatment and three others were treated and got healed.
The other 97 cases registered from tests done on Saturday include 36 from Kampala, 24 from Abim, 18 were registered from Gulu, Bugweri 3, Jinja 2, Mbale 2, Adjumani 1, Bugiri 1, Buvuma 1, Iganga 1, Kumi 1, Masaka 1, Moyo 2, Napak 1, Wakiso 2 and Soroti 1.
Uganda has todate registered a total of 9,801 coronavirus cases, 6,109 recoveries and 93 deaths.
