Bishop Zoreka implores Staff to work hard and leave lasting impression

KANUNGU- The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkizi Rt Rev Dan Zoreka has implored all church leaders in their respective positions to ensure that whatever they do leaves a lasting impression and also transform the areas they are in for better livelihoods.

Bishop Zoreka made the remarks Friday October 23rd, 2020 while speaking at the official opening of the Diocesan Annual Planning and Management Workshop which took place at St Peters Cathedral Nyakatare in Kanungu Town.

The training workshop was attended by the Diocesan Staff, Heads of Departments, Archdeacons, and the Compassion International Staff drawn all over the Diocese.

The Bishop asked the participants to take their responsibilities seriously because they will need to account for whatever they do and warned those who have failed to use the resources put under their care that they will be questioned.

The Bishop asked the participants to ask themselves why they are in the positions they occupy which he said the work of the Almighty God and therefore they must be accountable to others and even when they eventually leave they will be remembered for what they did be it good or bad.

Earlier the Diocesan Secretary Rev Can Kenneth Kanyankore said that the workshop was intended to review the performance of the Diocesan projects so that together they can discover challenges which can be improved on.
