KAMPALA- The newly formed Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) has today unveiled its new catch that includes two known opposition Members of Parliament into its own fold.
Ntungamo Municipality Member of Parliament Hon Gerald Karuhanga (Idependent) and Jinja Municipality West Member of Parliament Hon Paul Mwiru (FDC) were today July 7th 2020 unveiled as new party members.
The two formidable opposition MPs were introduced to the party members by the Acting National Coordinator of ANT Hon Alice Alaso in Kampala.
The function was also attended by Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) Presidential Flag bearer Gen Gregory Mugisha Muntu.
The two MPs were handed over the ANT party constitution by Hon Alice Alaso as a sign of allegiance to the party.
While speaking after receiving the ANT party Constitution Hon Karuhanga said that he will use his mass support that elected him as an independent MP in Ntungamo Municipality to deliver victory to his newly found home.
Jinja Municipality West MP Hon Paul Mwiru said that he has finally joined the party that understands the people’s concerns.
