Presidential hopeful Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine has today afternoon during his campaigns in Koboko endorsed National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Dr Ayume Charles Ibo Ido to be voted during the 2021 elections for Member of Parliament Koboko municipality.
“I have studied and watched Dr Charles Ayume so much. I tell the people of Koboko to vote him,” He stated.
A number of Ugandans have commended Kyagulanyi on social media for making such an extra ordinary decision which they believe many leaders have failed.
“A leader is someone who can identify people with different abilities to serve and find possible solutions to the challenges however much you can be of different colours.
Leadership or politics is serving people not fronting party interests like Museveni does” one Facebook user named Henry Kiragga says.
Another Ugandan named Tumusange Joshua commends Bobi for the same reason.
“For many years, our leaders have emphasized the importance of unity among opposition politicians as a vital necessity for providing a better life to the people and a fundamental change our country badly needs, for ensuring stability in the country and for realising the hopes and aspirations of our people. Bravo Hon Kyagulanyi,” he stated via Facebook.
Dr Ayume is contesting for Member of Parliament of Koboko Municipality after defeating state minister for finance and privatization Hon Evelyn Anite Kajik during NRM primaries with 8089 votes.
