Struggling singer Ibrahim Mayanja aka Big Eye has issued a 14day ultimatum to the National Resistance Movement and its national chairman President Yoweri Museveni over failure to pay him.
The alleged remuneration wrangle stems from the 2011 election campaigns where Big Eye featured on the NRM party’s campaign trail with President Museveni.
Big Eye who is swimming in debt currently demands 270 million for his services to the party and the president. A few days ago, he has been crying out to the president for a financial bailout yo enable him to pay for a house that he had paid partly for.
However, having realised that Shanitah Namuyimbwa alias Bad Black was able to get paid out of defiance, he has also threatened to sue the president and his party, firing them 14 days to pay him or face the law.
Through his lawyer Kiryoowa Jonathan, Big Eye claims the inability of the NRM and its chairman to pay him has left him with no option but to opt for legal redress.
