The MasterCard Foundation has aptly provided some great news to grieving Makerere University lovers after announcing a USD 1 Million contribution to the rebuilding process of the university main building.
The university main building, commonly referred to as the Ivory Tower was up in flames last Sunday in what many believe could have been a case of arson.
Several arrests have since been made as inquiries into the inferno Continue. However the MasterCard foundation, in a letter to the University VC Barnabas Nawangwe from the foundation CEO Dr. Reeta Roy offered 3.7 billion (USD1Million) to help in the rebuilding process.
Several corporate companies have already offered money and building material to the university so as to reinstate the symbolic building back on its feet.
