Western Uganda vetaran artiste Kyobutungi Charity alias Sister Charity is fuming after she got conned by Karamoja affairs minister Engineer John Byabagambi.
The singer who also works on television says she is furious with the minister because he has failed to meet his side of the bargain after she recorded for him a campaign song.
The two had agreed on 2 million shillings for the project but the minister only deposited 0.5 Million and defaulted 1.5 million shillings. The song was for the 2016 elections and the singer says Eng Byabagambi has refused to pay her despite the five years now in Parliament.
The singer had now insisted she does not work for Charity saying the Ibanda South MP risks being cursed as he heads for another election.
“We put in a lot as musicians and at the end of the day end up being defaulted of our works by greedy customers. We are tired of undermining our works hence I need Engineer Byabagambi to clear up my campaign song balance or else he faces a curse of a heavy defeat in the upcoming general elections,” fumed Charity.
However, Boomgossip.com have learnt that Minister John Byabagambi has finally paid the Charity as he had no choice but succumb to Western Uganda musical artist and TV personality’s pressure after being exposed by the singer to clear her campaign song balance accruing to shs1.5Million.
