Buganda kingdom premier Charles Peter Mayiga has scoffed at reports of ill health by the Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, saying the allegations are a work of idler who have failed to get what to do.
Mayiga was responding to circulating reports that the Kabaka was very sick while others also claimed that he had died.
But Mayiga while speaking to the press earlier this week in Mengo revealed that the Kabaka was healthy and not admitted to any health facility.
“I want to make it clear to everybody that the Kabaka is doing fine and he is not admitted to any hospital as is being alleged,” he clarified.
Meanwhile, President Yoweri Museveni threatened to arrest whoever is behind the false allegations about the sickness and death of the monarch.
He fumed at stupid bloggers who spread falsehood with an aim of growing their following on social media.
