Ugandan female dancehall star Cinderella Ssanyu alias Cindy is now smiling from ear to ear after scooping a juicy seat in the Uganda Musicians Association, a body that unites Uganda’s entertainers. The female diva has beaten off stiff competition to emerge winner as she contested for the Association’s vice presidency.
Cindy will bow deputise Tugume Wycliffe alias Ykee Benda as heads of the association. The “Tempo” singer defeated Mary Bata, Sarah Zawedde and Mariam Ndagire to clinch the slot.
The singer has had a very amazing year despite the COVID-19 crisis, bouncing back atop the music charts and staging a sold out concert as well as getting engaged to actor Akuyo Joel Prince Atiku. The latest victory can only thrill her more.
