KAMPALA- Uganda has registered two new COVID-19 deaths from Kampala bringing the total of COVID-19 deaths to 73. In the same vein, the ministry of health Uganda conrmed 166 new COVID-19 cases from tests done on 26 September 2020.
Of the confirmed cases, 165 are contacts and Alerts 47 of whom are from Pader, 34 from Kampala, 22 from Koboko, 12 from Kole, 16 from Adjumani, Wakiso 7 and Gulu 9.
Others are 4 from Kiryandongo, 3 from Lamwo, 2 from Yumbe, 2 from Amolatar, 2 from Hoima, Luwero 2, Masindi 1, Amuru 1, and Arua 1 districts. The other one case is a truck driver who arrived via Elegu point of entry.
Currently, Uganda registers a cumulative total of 7,530 confirmed cases and 3,647 recoveries.
