KAMPALA- The ministry of health has confirmed 75 new Coronavirus cases from 4,133 samples tested on Tuesday September, 2020.
Of the 75 newly confirmed cases, ten are health workers from Kampala.
Other cases include 65 alerts and contacts of which 30 are from Kampala, 23 from Buikwe, 6 from Kikuube, 3 from Buvuma, 1 from Jinja, 1 from Mukono, and 1 from Wakiso.
Additionally the ministry notes that ten foreign truck drivers including 7 Kenyan, 2 Tanzanians and a Congolese who tested positive for Coronavirus at different border points of entry were not allowed in to the country.
To date, Uganda registers a total of 3,112 confirmed Coronavirus cases , 1,528 recoveries and thirty two deaths.
